About Trusted Online Tools

Trusted Online Tools is a collection of free web tools: financial and health calculators, unit converters, and image utilities for compressing, resizing, converting, cropping, and rotating pictures. Every tool is free for personal and commercial use, requires no account, and shows no paywall.

All processing happens locally on your device. When you calculate a mortgage payment, convert kilograms to pounds, or compress a photo, the numbers and files are handled by code running in your browser tab. There is no upload step and no server that receives your data — the pages themselves are static files served from a content delivery network.

Conversion factors use the exact values defined by international standards bodies — for example, one pound is exactly 0.45359237 kilograms, as fixed by the 1959 international yard and pound agreement. Health calculators use published, peer-reviewed formulas such as the Mifflin-St Jeor equation; financial calculators use the standard amortization and compound-interest formulas, with edge cases handled explicitly. Core formulas are covered by automated tests that run on every change.

Last updated July 11, 2026.What you type into the tools never leaves your device — inputs, measurements, and images are processed locally and are never transmitted to us or any third party. Your browser’s localStorage remembers your theme, favorites, and recent tools; that data stays on your device and can be cleared through your browser’s site-data settings.

We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous usage statistics: pages visited, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type. It never receives anything you type into the tools. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google processes this data, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on — every tool works exactly the same with analytics blocked.

There are no user accounts, so we hold no names, emails, or profiles, and we do not sell, rent, or share any data. If our data practices ever change (such as introducing advertising), this page will be updated first.
